Commercial Operations Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Commercial Operations Specialist to join our Commercial Operations team in Rome. Reporting to the Commercial Operations Manager, you will act as an analytical partner to the sales network, turning complex data into strategic insights that drive profitable commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor commercial KPIs such as volume and value, analysing the impact of pricing and product mix.
• Support the manager in designing, updating and optimising calculation models and dashboards (Joint Business Plan tools, quarterly Customer Plans).
• Evaluate trade investment ROI, measuring the effectiveness of promotional campaigns and providing data‑backed recommendations.
• Analyse shelf positioning and consumer pricing to monitor trade margin of distribution partners and inform contract renewals.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Statistics or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in sales analysis, trade marketing or sales, preferably within a structured FMCG environment.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; Italian language skills are a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, high accuracy and result‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
