Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will support the development, tendering and execution of energy and infrastructure projects across the EMEA region. Based in Italy, the role bridges technical, commercial, procurement and execution teams to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Scout, evaluate and manage construction and general contractors, supporting partner mapping, qualification and tendering activities.
• Lead GCO tendering processes, prepare subcontractor tender packages and ensure compliance with global and local standards.
• Prepare, review and validate technical, commercial and contractual documentation.
• Estimate construction and installation budgets and support technical and commercial evaluations during bidding.
• Identify, assess and mitigate construction‑related risks, maintaining risk registers and reporting to global teams.
• Support contract preparation and negotiation with contractors and customers, working closely with legal, procurement and commercial teams.
• Conduct site visits and surveys during the tendering phase and define construction and installation schedules.
• Ensure smooth handover from tendering to execution, assisting project and site managers with claims and variation management.
• Coordinate remotely with site managers during execution and act as on‑site manager when required.
• Drive continuous improvement of construction management processes and promote HSE best practices.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management or similar roles.
• Proven experience on multidisciplinary, medium to large‑scale energy or electrification projects.
• Strong understanding of technical, commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects.
