Construction Manager – Plant Projects

About the role

Saipem is seeking a Construction Manager Plant to lead the execution of large‑scale infrastructure projects within its Sustainable Infrastructure Business. Reporting to the Head of Construction Department, you will ensure that time, cost, quality and safety targets are achieved while coordinating a multidisciplinary construction team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of the site quality control plan.
• Manage the construction budget, analysing monthly payments against progress and ensuring accurate cash flow.
• Monitor and report construction progress to the Project Director and Project Manager.
• Review and coordinate contractual documents, ensuring alignment with project functions.
• Supervise on‑site activities to meet specifications, safety regulations and timelines.
• Facilitate communication among contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Promote a culture of safety and quality, organising training and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience managing large‑scale infrastructure projects, including bridges and viaducts.
• Proven experience with reinforced and prestressed concrete (RC/PC) and steel structures.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
