Contract & Commercial Manager

About the role

The Contract & Commercial Manager will oversee all commercial, financial, tax, insurance and contractual aspects of projects from the sales phase through execution. Working closely with sales, project managers and cross‑functional teams, you will ensure that contracts, guarantees, and insurance concepts are properly managed and that risks are identified early.

Key responsibilities

• Manage bonds, guarantees, and insurance concepts in collaboration with sales.
• Prepare and review digital SCAP, contract comments, and negotiate terms with customers.
• Support tax department with project presentations and tax concepts.
• Contribute to sales risk analysis covering contract and supply‑chain matters.
• Assist project managers in legal and insurance kick‑off meetings and identify contractual risks.
• Handle foreign‑exchange management, cost controlling, invoicing, and accounts receivable support.
• Provide inputs for claim management, insurance claims, and shipping document issuance.
• Administer local project office operations, including cash management, banking, and accounting.
• Participate in sourcing, financing requirements, and drafting of sub‑contracts and consortium agreements.
• Collaborate with legal, logistics, and other service departments to align contractual and commercial strategies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law, Economics, Management or Engineering.
• Proven experience in commercial and contractual management within an international environment.
• Ability to work with global teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as Spanish or Portuguese are a plus.
