Corporate Alliances Specialist – Fixed‑Term (Rome)

About the role

The Corporate Alliances Specialist will work under the Corporate Alliances Manager to build and manage high‑value corporate partnerships that support UNICEF’s strategic objectives in Italy and globally. Based in Rome, the role focuses on private fund‑raising and partnership development with national committees, country offices and internal divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and negotiate corporate partnership opportunities aligned with UNICEF’s strategic priorities.
• Manage a portfolio of priority corporate prospects, ensuring delivery of income targets and partnership objectives.
• Monitor partnership performance, report progress and adjust strategies in collaboration with National Committees and PFP teams.
• Coordinate global activity plans across communications, advocacy and business units to maximise partnership reach and impact.
• Lead knowledge‑management activities, maintaining up‑to‑date partnership information and toolkits.
• Support the development of sector‑specific expertise and guidelines to strengthen UNICEF’s corporate partnership capability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate partnership development, fundraising or related commercial roles.
• Strong understanding of partnership lifecycle, from prospecting to renewal.
• Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills across diverse internal and external audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively with programme, communications, legal, due‑diligence and advocacy teams.
