Corporate Controller – Europe (Retail & Casa)

About the role

We are looking for a Corporate Controller to join our Finance Office in Milan, supporting the Casa & Retail business across Europe. You will work closely with finance and business partners to ensure accurate reporting, budgeting and cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly management closings.
• Develop periodic budgets and forecasts aligned with business objectives.
• Analyse variances between actual results and plans, highlighting key drivers.
• Monitor operating costs in collaboration with Accounting and business functions.
• Interact with stakeholders to support decision‑making processes.
• Conduct detailed cost analyses to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Prepare management reports and presentations for internal audiences.
• Support performance monitoring through financial and operational KPI analysis.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in controlling or management control, preferably in fashion or luxury.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and control processes.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Knowledge of Tagetik.
