Critical Risk & Operational Safety Specialist

About the role

Forwood Safety is hiring an experienced safety professional in Italy to combine hands-on industry knowledge with SaaS technology. The role works with customers, contractors, partners and frontline teams to show how critical risk management can prevent serious injuries and fatalities, with international exposure and the chance to influence product development.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate how Critical Risk Management (CRM) and other safety solutions solve real operational challenges.
• Use field experience in customer conversations, product demonstrations and sales engagements.
• Engage prospective customers and industry partners, virtually and on site in Italy and internationally.
• Gather customer feedback and share insights with sales, product and customer success teams.
• Stay up to date on industry practices, regulations and developments in serious injury and fatality prevention.
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to customer engagement, revenue growth and product adoption.
• Travel internationally when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operational safety or risk management in construction, electricity utilities, infrastructure or another high-risk industry.
• Experience working with contractors and subcontractors in operational environments.
• Strong understanding of safety management systems, critical risk controls and serious injury/fatality prevention.
• Ability to explain complex safety concepts clearly to frontline workers and senior leaders.
• Fluency in Italian and English, written and spoken.
• Relevant qualifications in Health and Safety, Risk Management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Required skills

• Interest in technology and digital safety solutions.
• Experience with SaaS, EHS or risk management platforms is an advantage but not essential.
• Commercially aware mindset and ability to connect customer needs with practical solutions.
