Customer Development Internship

About the role

Join Barilla’s Customer Team in Parma and gain hands‑on experience in category management, analytics and sales. This six‑month internship offers a real‑world view of how a global food leader drives product performance and shopper engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Support analysis of product performance for assigned customers.
• Participate in category‑management projects and in‑store shopper activities.
• Monitor and evaluate the efficiency of in‑store promotions.
• Assist with e‑commerce channel projects and related performance tracking.
• Update Business Intelligence (BI) sales tools and analyse distribution of new products.

Required profile

• 2nd‑year Master’s student or recent graduate in Trade Marketing, Business Management, Data Analytics, Economics or related fields.
• Strong numerical aptitude and passion for analytics.
• Problem‑solving mindset and out‑of‑the‑box thinking.
• Excellent academic record.
• Fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
• International study or work experience is a plus.
