Cyber Security Expert – Global Manufacturing

About the role

The Cyber Security Expert will be a key contributor to protecting the global manufacturing landscape. You will combine strategic thinking with hands‑on technical expertise to secure the entire systems architecture, including critical operational technology (OT) environments.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution of the global Cyber Security Strategy and lead projects to deliver on time, within budget, and with high quality.
• Design and implement robust solutions such as Zero‑Trust architecture, identity and access management, and privileged access management.
• Evaluate, recommend, and integrate new security technologies to strengthen the organization’s defense posture.
• Collaborate with OT teams to secure plant‑floor networks, industrial protocols, and production assets.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across infrastructure, applications, networks, and OT systems.
• Ensure compliance with international regulations and industry‑specific standards (e.g., ISA/IEC 62443, NIST, ISO/IEC 27001).
• Maintain and update internal security policies and procedures.
• Coordinate incident response activities and oversee Security Operations Center (SOC) functions.
• Promote a strong security culture through training and awareness programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a dedicated cyber security role, preferably within a multinational manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Deep knowledge of security protocols, identity management, vulnerability management, and security solutions (IAM, PAM, SIEM, EDR).
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices.
• Strong foundational knowledge of OT security, including ISA/IEC 62443 and securing SCADA/DCS environments.
• Experience with common frameworks such as NIST.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, Certified Information Security Manager).
