Data Engineer Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Data Engineer Intern to join our dynamic data team. You will work closely with Data Scientists and senior engineers to support data pipeline development and data management across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, files and other sources.
• Assist in improving infrastructure for data collection, storage and processing.
• Monitor data quality, detect anomalies and resolve pipeline issues.
• Contribute to ETL process creation and optimization.
• Provide clean, high‑quality data for machine‑learning and analytics initiatives.
• Document technical solutions and processes.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Basic programming knowledge in Python, Java or Scala.
• Understanding of relational (SQL) and non‑relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Familiarity with data‑management frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop or Airflow is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude, curiosity and a willingness to learn.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
