DEI Digital Content Consultant (3-month contract, remote, Italy)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Digital Content Consultant to support the National Response in Italy programme. The consultant will work remotely from Italy, creating digital content and delivering training that raises awareness and promotes inclusive practices for unaccompanied and separated children, young migrants and refugees.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and manage digital content for DEI awareness campaigns.
• Design and deliver training programmes for adolescents, youth and adult audiences.
• Support the implementation of protection and social‑inclusion activities for vulnerable children and migrants.
• Maintain and update web‑based platforms and websites related to the programme.
• Collaborate with multicultural teams and external partners.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in social science, political science, education, anthropology or communication.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in digital mobilisation and educational activities with disadvantaged adolescents or youth.
• Proven track record in designing and delivering training for adults.
• Experience working with refugees, migrants, asylum‑seekers or internally displaced persons.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
