Demand & Supply Chain Planner Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an analytical and proactive Demand & Supply Chain Planner to join our team in Rome. The role covers end‑to‑end demand forecasting, inventory optimisation, supply alignment and support for product launches, using modern ERP and AI tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts across product portfolios, aligning commercial expectations with supply capabilities.
• Lead the monthly S&OP process in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Logistics.
• Monitor market trends, sales performance and forecast‑accuracy KPIs.
• Manage inventory levels, safety stock and product availability while minimising waste.
• Collaborate with manufacturing sites, suppliers and logistics partners to mitigate supply risks.
• Support product launches, lifecycle management and critical supply‑chain projects.
• Leverage SAP, AI‑driven forecasting tools and BI platforms to improve planning decisions.
• Prepare analyses and dashboards, including IQV and performance reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain, Life Sciences or related field, or at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in demand planning, inventory management or S&OP processes; pharmaceutical experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on actionable insights.
• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
