Digital Account Executive – Public Sector

About the role

The Salesforce Digital Account Executive will act as a subject‑matter expert and trusted advisor for Italian Public Sector and Education prospects, promoting Salesforce’s digital platform solutions that enable personalized, omnichannel customer journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Educate internal account teams on the full Salesforce Digital technology stack and its relevance to Public Sector and Education customers.
• Identify target accounts, build compelling use cases, and create demonstration scenarios in collaboration with the Account and Territory teams.
• Generate new business opportunities through networking, cold‑calling, and prospecting, while maintaining accurate pipeline hygiene and forecasting.
• Own the end‑to‑end sales cycle, including lead generation, deal strategy, pricing, packaging, and assistance with closure.
• Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of enterprise software or technology sales experience with a proven record of quota attainment.
• Demonstrated ability to sell to C‑level executives and work both independently and within a team.
• Fluent in Italian and English with the legal right to work in Italy.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of Salesforce Digital solutions and digital transformation trends.
• Experience selling enterprise technology solutions, preferably marketing automation platforms.

• Base salary range €47,350 – €63,350 per year.
