Director of Sales & Marketing

About the role

Rocco Forte Hotels is preparing the launch of a new luxury resort in Liscia di Vacca, Porto Cervo, Sardinia, scheduled for 2027. The Director of Sales & Marketing will shape and execute the sales strategy, driving revenue growth and establishing the property’s brand presence in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement sales strategies to achieve commercial targets.
• Manage key accounts, corporate clients and industry partners to generate long‑term business.
• Oversee the full enquiry life‑cycle, from initial contact through negotiation and hand‑over to Event Services.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management and the General Manager to monitor performance and apply corrective actions.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and ensure weekly hand‑over meetings with the Event Services team.
• Drive development of new markets and work closely with Group and Event Sales teams.
• Lead the sales and marketing team to meet targets set by the Area Director of Sales.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior sales or sales‑and‑marketing leadership within hospitality or luxury services.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with corporate and key accounts.
• Ability to analyse performance data and collaborate with revenue and operations teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and emotional‑intelligence skills.
