DSP System Engineering Intern

About the role

Marvell is looking for a young, talented engineer to join its system architecture team and work on next-generation PHY design. The internship lasts about five months with flexibility, and the candidate will be supervised by a reference person throughout.

Key responsibilities

• Work on link budgeting, non-ideality modeling and system simulation.
• Analyze DSP challenges and opportunities, compare optimization directions and generate performance vs. cost trade-off curves.
• Take part in meetings, discussions and brainstorming sessions.
• Collaborate with analog and digital design teams and interact with colleagues across locations.

Required profile

• Last year of a master's degree in electrical engineering (thesis activity) or a post-graduate internship in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Good written and verbal skills, detailed-oriented attitude and curiosity.
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• Familiarity with digital communication.
• Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP).
• Familiarity with simulation of communication systems.
• A good understanding of analog and digital design is preferred.

What we offer

• Expected base pay of 21,250 to 28,750 EUR per year, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, location and market conditions.
• Supervision by a reference person and exposure to an international environment.
