Engineering Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead maintenance and reliability activities at our ice‑cream production site. The role combines technical leadership, budget responsibility and people development to ensure safe, efficient and cost‑effective operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for maintenance, coordinating resources across local, regional and global teams.
• Own the maintenance budget, M&I and innovation CAPEX, driving cost control and investment decisions.
• Develop and execute maintenance programs that improve safety, productivity, asset lifetime, utilization and reliability.
• Promote continuous improvement and the rapid sharing of best practices across the site and the wider engineering community.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, influencing peers and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions aligned with the business agenda.
• Coach and develop engineering staff to raise team performance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong passion for technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and capital projects.
• Experience leading maintenance or reliability functions in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
