Engineering Supervisor – Injection Molding

About the role

The Engineering Supervisor leads local engineering activities within a matrix organization, focusing on injection molding process development, new mold creation, and process validation. Reporting to the Plant Manager operationally and to the Group Engineering Manager functionally, the role ensures alignment with plant priorities and Group Engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise injection molding processes for new and existing products.
• Define process parameters, operating windows and technical requirements to guarantee robust, repeatable manufacturing.
• Lead validation activities, preparing VMP, IQ, OQ and PQ documentation and coordinating trials.
• Conduct Process Risk Analyses in collaboration with Quality, Production, Regulatory and Technical Office.
• Coordinate new mold development from specification through design review, trials, qualification and release.
• Collaborate with Technical Office, mold makers and suppliers to meet technical, quality, timing and cost targets.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance process capability, product quality, cycle time and cost efficiency.
• Provide technical support for complex process issues, assess technical changes and manage change‑control activities.
• Maintain and improve process documentation and support the lifecycle management of production molds.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading injection‑molding process development and validation.
• Strong knowledge of validation documentation (VMP, IQ, OQ, PQ) and risk‑analysis methods.
• Hands‑on experience with new‑mold design, testing, qualification and industrialisation.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, suppliers and maintenance to resolve technical issues.
