Events & Experiences Host

About the role

YellowSquare is seeking an enthusiastic Events & Experiences Host to become the heartbeat of its Florence hostel. You will lead lively activities, turn strangers into friends, and create memorable moments that embody the global YellowSquare community.

Key responsibilities

• Design, organize and host quiz nights, karaoke, tournaments and creative challenges.
• Propose and co‑design new daytime and evening event formats.
• Facilitate guest interactions, breaking the ice and fostering lasting connections.
• Move through the venue during events to ensure every guest feels included.
• Collaborate closely with Bar and Reception teams to deliver seamless experiences.

Required profile

• Positive, high‑energy attitude with strong crowd‑leading charisma.
• Confident stage presence and excellent communication skills.
• Friendly, welcoming personality comfortable with an international audience.
• High proficiency in spoken English; Italian or additional languages are a plus.
• Flexible availability for evenings and weekends on an on‑call schedule.
• Reliability, punctuality and ability to manage group dynamics.
