Executive Assistant

About the role

ABB is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high‑level administrative and strategic support to a Global Leader and a Local Division Manager within the Motion Business. You will act as a trusted partner, enabling the leaders to focus on business priorities while you manage complex, international coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Business Manager with research, data verification, and the preparation of reports, presentations, organization charts, correspondence and other documents.
• Assess the urgency and complexity of incoming requests via phone, email and digital channels, taking appropriate action or escalating when needed.
• Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings and communications, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Support the execution and coordination of business processes and programs, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Plan, coordinate and execute international events such as business line meetings, town halls and client events from concept to completion.
• Organise multi‑leg international travel, including flights, accommodation, ground transport, visas and detailed itineraries while complying with company travel policies.
• Handle sensitive and confidential matters with autonomy and discretion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous experience in an executive or administrative assistant role is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience managing international stakeholder relationships.
• Strong judgment, initiative and the ability to manage complexity confidently.
