Export & Import Controlling Internship

About the role

This curricular internship focuses on export and import controlling within Bosch Rexroth's Compact Hydraulic division. You will support the team by analysing preferential origin, "made in" status, customs documentation, dual‑use classification and other customs activities.

Key responsibilities

• Study EU agreements and seminar material to verify preferential origin of DCOC products using internal systems and Excel.
• Check "made in" status of DCOC products by collaborating with departments such as CTG for bill of materials and costings.
• Explain export procedures and prepare related documents, including sales invoices, VAT, customs bills and export filings.
• Assist in determining dual‑use classification of products based on EU regulations.
• Perform anti‑terrorism checks on customers and suppliers, request import documents for MRN closure, and archive verification records.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Economics, Statistics or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and result‑oriented mindset.
• Good listening skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
