Facility Specialist

About the role

The Facility Specialist will coordinate maintenance activities, ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and support the continuous improvement of plant performance at our chemical production site in Torino.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal maintenance teams and oversee outsourced maintenance contracts in partnership with the Purchasing Manager.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001/TS, ISO 14000, and OHSAS 18001 standards and support plant certification efforts.
• Define and improve supervision, maintenance tools, and methodologies to boost overall equipment efficiency (OEE) and reduce costs.
• Implement investment plans for plant and machinery, ensuring adherence to budget, legislation, and safety requirements.
• Manage the Global Technology Center, Mechanical Testing & Laboratory Operations facilities, including design of new technical solutions and review of technical drawings.
• Monitor critical plant components, schedule preventive maintenance, and act as Emergency and Crisis Unit Manager when needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, or Construction Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar maintenance coordination role within an industrial or test‑facility environment.
• Proven experience in people management, project management, and budget handling (OPEX/CAPEX).
• Strong knowledge of industrial engineering, safety regulations, and emergency management.
