About the role

This internship offers a hands‑on introduction to food and beverage service within a world‑class hotel environment. As an F&B Service Trainee at The Westin Palace, you will experience daily hotel operations, learn Marriott’s hospitality standards, and develop a foundation for a career in the travel and hospitality industry.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the F&B team with guest service during breakfast, lunch, and dinner periods.
• Support set‑up and breakdown of dining areas, ensuring cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Learn to handle guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Observe and practice food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to maintain smooth operations.

Required profile

• Current college or university student pursuing a degree related to hospitality, tourism, or a similar field.
• Strong interest in the hotel and food‑and‑beverage industry.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
