Field Medical Advisor – HAE & Immunoglobulins (Belgium)

About the role

The Field Medical Advisor will act as a trusted scientific partner for healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders in the areas of hereditary angioedema (HAE) and immunoglobulins. Based in Italy, the role bridges scientific insight, clinical practice, and stakeholder engagement to support the safe and effective use of innovative therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain scientific relationships with KOLs, HCPs, and external experts in the therapeutic area.
• Provide accurate, timely, and compliant medical and clinical information to external stakeholders and internal teams.
• Organise and support scientific advisory boards, symposia, and educational events.
• Contribute to speaker programs, scientific collaborations, and investigator‑initiated studies.
• Support clinical trial activities, including site feasibility assessments and medical input to study proposals.
• Monitor market intelligence, competitor activity, and emerging scientific trends.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and Sales to align scientific communication.
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry codes.

Required profile

• Medical degree (physician, pharmacist, or Master’s in Biomedical Sciences) or equivalent scientific background.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in pharma/biotech, preferably in medical affairs or specialty products.
• Strong understanding of immunology, HAE, and immunoglobulins.
• Fluency in Dutch and French, with excellent English communication skills.
• Proven ability to engage external experts and manage scientific collaborations.
