Field Sales Engineer – Olive Oil

About the role

Alfa Laval, a Swedish multinational operating in Italy for over 140 years, is looking for a Field Sales Engineer dedicated to the olive‑oil processing sector. Based in Poggibonsi (or Monza), the role supports sales activities, promotes centrifuges and heat exchangers, and delivers complete or partial extraction line solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Promote, develop and ensure sales results for olive‑oil processing equipment.
• Coordinate and develop promotional and sales activities with system integrators, distributors and agencies.
• Travel across Italy—mainly southern regions—approximately 70% of the time.
• Collaborate closely with the Business Center in Poggibonsi on project management, stock forecasting, price‑list definition and technical sales support.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a network of partners and commercially handle key end customers.
• Capability to identify priorities and follow up on opportunities.
• Business‑development mindset with a team‑oriented approach.

Required skills

• University degree.
• Category B driving licence.
• 3–5 years of experience in the food industry.
• 3–5 years of sales experience.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows and the Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
