Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to join our Reporting and Controlling team within a multinational manufacturing group. Reporting to the Group Reporting and Accounting Manager, you will work on both reporting and controlling activities, gaining exposure to accounting, consolidation and group‑wide financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Drive inventory valuation accuracy and improve cost‑controlling analyses for the Operations team.
• Analyze inventory movements to identify trends in the manufacturing environment.
• Lead the monthly closing process, preparing and reviewing adjustment journal entries.
• Prepare warranty provision calculations based on warranty cost analysis.
• Support group‑wide financial processes, including intercompany reconciliations and consolidation entries.
• Assist the budgeting process and perform monthly Actual vs. Budget analysis.
• Contribute to the preparation of yearly statutory financial statements (stand‑alone and consolidated).
• Develop new controlling analyses, such as R&D project tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Accounting.
• 2‑4 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Italian GAAP (OIC) and strong accounting competence.
• Problem‑solving mindset and adaptability to changing situations.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with international, cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (JDE is a plus).
• Understanding of Italian GAAP (OIC).
