Financial Controller – Milan (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to join our finance team in Milan. The role offers a hybrid working model and the chance to work for a leading international healthcare company, combining controlling, reporting and business partnering responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, KPIs and management reports.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights for business decisions.
• Maintain accuracy of accounting records and support general ledger activities.
• Monitor accounts payable and support overall finance operations.
• Participate in audit activities and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders and contribute to finance transformation projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Experience in financial controlling, accounting or FP&A, preferably in an international environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Proactive and able to work independently while collaborating with various functions.
• Fluent or good working knowledge of English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with financial systems or ERP tools.
