Food & Beverage Services Supervisor – Milan

About the role

The Food & Beverage Services Supervisor ensures that the dining areas operate smoothly, staff work as a cohesive team, and guest expectations are consistently met. This role combines operational oversight, staff leadership, and guest interaction within a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate F&B staff to deliver optimal service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect staff grooming, attire, and overall appearance, correcting any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setup of supplies, equipment cleaning, and securing the premises.
• Maintain organized storage areas using FIFO principles and ensure cleanliness.
• Conduct inventories, stock requisitions, and manage supply levels.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, safety, and guest well‑being.
• Create and follow work orders for maintenance repairs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and employee coaching.
• Enforce company safety, security, and quality policies; report incidents and complete required safety training.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant food & beverage experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, standing for long periods, and navigating stairs or confined spaces.
