Freelance Android Software Engineer (12‑month contract)

About the role

Moneyfarm is looking for a freelance Android Software Engineer to join its mobile team for a 12‑month engagement. You will help shape the next generation of the company’s investment app, delivering a simple and effective user experience for thousands of investors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features and continuously evolve the Android application.
• Write and maintain automated tests for new and existing functionality.
• Ensure a smooth, intuitive UX/UI throughout the customer journey.
• Collaborate closely with designers and other frontend engineers to maintain visual and functional consistency.
• Promote and uphold a high standard of code quality across the codebase.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and the Android framework.
• Familiarity with modern Android architectures such as MVVM or MVI and Clean Architecture principles.
• Experience applying SOLID principles in mobile development.
• Awareness of emerging frameworks, technologies, and best practices in Android.
