French Teacher

About the role

The school seeks a dedicated French Teacher to plan, deliver and assess high‑quality learning experiences for primary students, fostering academic, social, emotional and personal development in a safe and inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and oversee the primary academic programme and ensure effective delivery of the curriculum.
• Coordinate, mentor and evaluate the primary teaching team, leading pedagogical meetings and supporting professional development.
• Monitor students’ academic, social and emotional progress and implement support strategies for diverse learning needs.
• Maintain communication with parents, participate in meetings and address concerns.
• Prepare academic reports, coordinate timetables, assessments and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or licence as required by local regulations.
• Minimum required years of teaching experience in primary education.
• Experience in bilingual or international schools is an advantage.
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
• Knowledge of child development and age‑appropriate teaching methodologies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Planning, organisational and assessment abilities.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
