Full Stack Engineer (Java & React)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer to help modernise a large‑scale commodity trading platform. You will build a new web‑based UI, extend backend services and redesign APIs to enable seamless interaction between the front‑end and back‑end components.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend functionality using Java and Spring.
• Design, implement and evolve RESTful APIs for modern web interfaces.
• Create a new web UI using React, replacing an existing desktop UI.
• Ensure effective integration between frontend and backend components.
• Participate in system and API design discussions.
• Write clean, maintainable and well‑tested code.
• Analyse existing functionality and add new features.
• Collaborate with product owners, DevOps, and other engineers.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience with React and Java backend development.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and integration patterns.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Maven, Linux‑based development environments and version control.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Good communication skills in English.
