Fund Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Fund Accountant to join Alter Domus, a leading provider of integrated solutions for the alternative investment industry. The role involves supporting the full accounting cycle, regulatory reporting and audit processes within a fast‑growing, digit‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to day‑to‑day, month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes, including accruals, prepaids and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Investigate balance‑sheet and profit‑and‑loss variances, provide analysis and explanations.
• Support preparation of VAT, tax returns and other regulatory reports.
• Participate in the annual audit and preparation of financial statements.
• Liaise with external parties as required.
• Drive improvement initiatives, standardisation, process re‑engineering and implementation of best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or economics.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; French language skills are a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and take initiative.

Required skills

• IFRS knowledge.
• SAP S/4HANA.
