About the role
The Fondazione SOS – Il Telefono Azzurro is seeking a General Secretary to join the Presidency’s team in Rome. The role supports the President and the organization’s daily operations, ensuring smooth coordination of administrative and logistical activities.
Key responsibilities
- Organise employee trips and manage the President’s agenda in collaboration with the Personal Assistant.
- Prepare support materials for meetings and assist in the organisation of conferences, meetings and events.
- Maintain both digital and hard‑copy archives and operate the switchboard.
- Draft meeting reports and translate documents as needed.
- Search for, evaluate and manage relationships with suppliers.
Required profile
- University degree.
- Significant experience in a similar role within national or international associations.
- High level of discretion, precision, reliability and motivation.
- Strong organisational skills, proactivity and adaptability.
- Availability to work flexible hours and travel frequently.
- Excellent command of English (C1 level) and proficiency with modern IT tools.
- Genuine interest in the social sector, particularly child and adolescent welfare, and alignment with the Association’s mission.
