Graphic & Print Design Intern

About the role

Jil Sander is looking for a Graphic & Print Design Intern to join its Creative Team at the Milan headquarters. The role offers a hands‑on experience in developing prints and graphics for menswear, womenswear and accessories, supporting the design process from research to final presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the senior print designer in creating all‑over and placed prints for collections and special projects.
• Research and develop visual stories for ready‑to‑wear collections, including visits to libraries, museums and exhibitions.
• Experiment with drawing, painting and digital techniques to produce artwork.
• Collaborate with fabric development, product development and production teams.
• Prepare print boards, research boards, colour standards and update the print archive.
• Support meetings by presenting graphic work to the Creative Director and other teams.

Required profile

• Strong artistic background with a passion for print, fashion and design.
• Proactive, positive attitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced creative environment.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Excellent hand‑drawing, painting and sketching abilities.
• Knowledge of print placement on patterns (a plus).
