Group Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, commercially‑minded Group Tax Manager to lead the tax function from our Northern Italy headquarters. This senior position offers broad international exposure and close interaction with senior leadership, shareholders, external advisors, and finance teams across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax and other compliance obligations across all entities.
• Coordinate preparation and review of tax returns with local finance teams and external advisors.
• Manage tax reporting, including current and deferred tax calculations under IFRS and local GAAP, and ensure accurate tax provisioning.
• Develop and implement efficient international tax structures and monitor transfer‑pricing policies in line with OECD and local regulations.
• Support M&A, integrations, restructurings and refinancing activities from a tax perspective, leading tax due‑diligence and identifying risks and opportunities.
• Maintain robust tax governance, manage relationships with tax authorities, and oversee audits and disputes.
• Partner with finance, legal, treasury and operational teams to provide tax insight for commercial decisions.

Required profile

• Significant experience in corporate tax, indirect tax and international tax structuring.
• Hands‑on experience in a private‑equity or fast‑growing international environment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work autonomously while collaborating with senior stakeholders.
