Head of Global Platform Partnerships & TikTok Acceleration

About the role

Kao is seeking a senior leader to own and expand strategic relationships with the world’s leading digital platforms. Reporting to the VP of the AEMEA DX Marketing Centre of Excellence, you will drive partnership initiatives with Meta, Google, ByteDance and lead TikTok acceleration across global brands.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage senior‑level relationships with global platform owners, securing beta access, joint business plans and measurement upgrades.
• Design and operate a platform governance model including quarterly business reviews, roadmaps and escalation paths.
• Translate platform capabilities into actionable toolkits, playbooks and training for brand, eCommerce and market teams.
• Lead a flagship TikTok lighthouse project, developing standards for strategy, creative, influencer, media, commerce and measurement.
• Collaborate with Japan HQ, global brand teams, eCommerce units and agency partners in a highly matrixed environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading global digital partnership programs with major platforms.
• Strong track record of negotiating strategic agreements and delivering commercial outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across senior leadership, legal, procurement and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to operate in a fast‑moving, matrixed organization and influence without direct authority.
