Head of Retail – South Territory EMEA

About the role

The Head of Retail for the South Territory will partner with the Retail Director EMEA to turn regional strategy into measurable market impact across France, Spain, Portugal and Italy. This senior, hands‑on position requires executive presence, cross‑functional influence and a proven record of profitable growth in multi‑market retail environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the cluster retail strategy aligned with EMEA priorities, prioritising investments and resource allocation.
• Own P&L performance, driving top‑line growth and margin through pricing, assortment, promotions and productivity initiatives.
• Translate global campaigns into locally relevant plans, using sales, traffic, inventory and CRM analytics to optimise conversion, average transaction value and stock turn.
• Ensure consistent execution of New Balance operational standards across owned and operated stores, embedding audit, compliance and loss‑prevention disciplines.
• Partner with the expansion team on site selection, opening plans and post‑opening ramp‑up to meet commercial milestones and ROI.
• Manage regional operating costs, shrinkage targets and stock control processes, including omnichannel fulfilment points.
• Safeguard visual merchandising and the overall brand and customer experience.

Required profile

• Senior retail leader with extensive experience delivering profitable growth in multi‑country environments.
• Strong strategic mindset and ability to adapt global initiatives to local market nuances.
• Excellent executive presence and cross‑functional influence.
• Willingness to travel 70‑80% of the time across the South EMEA region.
