Health & Safety Training & Wellbeing Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Health & Safety – Training, Health & Wellbeing Specialist to be based in Alba, Italy. The role ensures the design, delivery and continuous improvement of training programs that meet legal requirements, internal procedures and safety culture objectives, while also driving wellbeing initiatives for all employees across the Italy region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update Health & Safety training plans, skill matrices and learning objectives for all employee groups.
• Create and periodically review training materials, coordinate onboarding and coaching programmes for new workers.
• Promote digital learning solutions, run Train‑the‑Trainer sessions and monitor training completion, compliance and effectiveness.
• Prepare reports, dashboards and manage the Health & Safety training budget.
• Design, coordinate and evaluate safety culture and wellbeing programmes, events, workshops and webinars across plants and business units.
• Collect employee feedback, benchmark best practices and provide improvement recommendations to leadership.
• Lead regional Health & Safety communication initiatives, producing newsletters, videos, posters and managing campaign calendars.

Required profile

• Proven experience in developing and delivering Health & Safety training programmes.
• Strong knowledge of legal safety requirements and internal safety procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple sites, business units and external training providers.
• Experience in budgeting, reporting and using data to assess training effectiveness.
• Excellent communication skills to create and manage safety and wellbeing communication assets.
