Home Care Assistant (OSS) – Pescara

About the role

Air Liquide HR is recruiting a Home Care Assistant (OSS) in Pescara for Medicasa Italia, a group company founded in 1993 that provides home assistance services (ADI) across Italy through 15 operations centres. The assistant delivers high-quality social and health care at the patient's home, supporting autonomy, physical, psychological and social well-being and working closely with the multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support in daily activities for vulnerable people at home (personal hygiene, dressing, mobilisation, feeding).
• Work with nurses, physiotherapists and doctors to ensure complete, personalised care.
• Assess the patient's needs and report any changes to the medical staff.
• Offer emotional and relational support to the patient and their family.
• Help keep the home safe and comfortable.
• Use medical aids and equipment correctly.
• Record activities according to company procedures.

Required profile

• Recognised professional qualification certificate for Home Care Assistant (OSS).
• Previous experience, even minimal, in home care or social-healthcare facilities (preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
