HR Business Partner Lead Specialist – Corporate

About the role

The IDB Group is seeking a senior Human Resources Business Partner Lead Specialist to support its strategic corporate departments and board services from its Washington, D.C. headquarters. This international staff role offers visa and relocation assistance and provides an opportunity to influence the institution’s people strategy across the full employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management and functional leaders to shape and implement the people strategy.
• Facilitate strategic conversations on talent pipelines, succession planning, and workforce needs aligned with business objectives.
• Co‑lead the annual talent review, promotion processes, and workforce planning calls, providing advisory support on performance cases.
• Analyze and present HR insights that guide senior leadership decisions on organizational design, talent management, and culture.
• Partner with the broader HRD ecosystem to co‑create and implement policies for organizational development, talent management, performance, compensation, and benefits.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a strategic HR leader partnering with senior executives.
• Deep knowledge of full‑cycle HR, including talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, and employee development.
• Strong client‑centric orientation and ability to translate business strategy into HR solutions.
• Excellent advisory and influencing skills with a track record of thought leadership.
