Industrial Controller – Multi-Site

About the role

Glacier Italia is seeking an experienced Industrial Controller to join its Finance team. The role supports performance management of manufacturing operations across several sites, providing analysis, reporting and decision‑support to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Support the monthly management closing process with detailed analysis by plant, cost centre, production line and product category.
• Monitor and analyse industrial performance across multiple sites, identifying drivers of variances and operational inefficiencies.
• Oversee inventory valuation, stock movements and warehouse valuation methodologies.
• Perform financial analysis of production variances, waste, yields, process losses, labour and overhead absorption.
• Develop, maintain and harmonise industrial KPIs and reporting dashboards across plants.
• Prepare management and plant‑level reports for operational leadership and senior management.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities for the relevant industrial areas.
• Support product costing activities, including standard cost definition, updates and variance analysis.
• Assist the migration to the new JDE ERP system and the implementation of a new product costing methodology.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain and Plant Management to identify critical areas, recommend corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis for strategic decisions, efficiency projects, CAPEX evaluation and profitability improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Management Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial controlling within complex manufacturing environments.
• Experience in FMCG or food industry is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive and solution‑oriented.
• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proven experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards (JDE).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools, especially Microsoft Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of product costing, standard costing methodologies and industrial variance analysis.
