Industrial Engineering Specialist (w/m/d)

About the role

The Industrial Engineering Specialist will support the industrialisation and continuous optimisation of manufacturing processes for food and beverage processing equipment, with a strong focus on piping systems and CNC tube‑bending technologies. The role bridges design, production and supplier teams to ensure robust, repeatable processes.

Key responsibilities

• Industrialise manufacturing processes for process equipment used in the food & beverage industry.
• Define and standardise manufacturing procedures from design to shop‑floor execution for process piping.
• Optimise 3D and 2D piping designs to improve bending quality, manufacturability and cost efficiency.
• Program CNC pipe‑bending machines and optimise related processes.
• Prepare and optimise cutting lists for piping components.
• Create standard work, work instructions and control plans for pipe‑bending production.
• Provide technical support across design, manufacturing and suppliers to ensure process robustness.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives targeting productivity, OEE, quality and lead‑time.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); French is a plus.
• Proven experience with CAD design (2D/3D) and CNC pipe‑bending programming.
• Strong mechanical and basic electrical knowledge.
• Ability to work autonomously and within cross‑functional teams.
• Project‑management mindset and familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma tools.
