Interior Designer Internship

About the role

Italdesign is seeking recent design graduates for an Interior Designer Internship within its Design Department in Moncalieri, Italy. The internship offers hands‑on experience in automotive interior design, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge in a leading international engineering and design environment.

Key responsibilities

• Work under the guidance of a dedicated tutor to learn design tools, processes and professional standards.
• Participate in interior design projects, contributing ideas that meet client aesthetic and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an international setting, supporting concept development and visualisation.
• Assist in market analysis, storytelling, and the creation of hand and digital sketches.
• Produce 2D and 3D renderings, and develop polygonal 3D models for proportion studies.

Required profile

• Degree in a design‑related field (e.g., Industrial Design, Interior Design).
• Fluent written and spoken Italian and English (minimum B2 level).
• Creative mindset with the ability to propose alternative design approaches.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and an international team orientation.
• Good time‑management, proactive attitude and problem‑solving capabilities.
