Intern – Training and Advanced Education

About the role

This internship supports the Training and Advanced Education (TAE) Cluster at UNICRI, contributing to the design and delivery of postgraduate programmes and capacity‑building trainings on crime prevention and criminal justice.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in filing and screening applications for the LL.M. in Global Criminal Justice and Accountability and the LL.M. in Cybercrime, Cybersecurity and International Law.
• Support implementation of online activities for the LL.M. in Cybercrime, Cybersecurity and International Law (2025/26 edition).
• Help organise and implement the in‑person workshop for the same LL.M. programme.
• Provide information to former and prospective participants of all TAE training programmes.
• Draft and prepare correspondence, background documents, reports, issue briefs, talking points, articles, presentations and official documents.
• Collect data and maintain databases for each LL.M. programme.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Programme Management Officer.

Required profile

• Must be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate‑level programme at the time of application.
• Strong interest in international law, criminal justice or related fields.
• Ability to work full‑time (35 hours per week) for an initial period of 2 months, with possible extension up to 6 months.
