IT Security Engineer (m/f/d)

About the role

As an IT Security Engineer you will join a fast‑growing e‑mobility company and help protect its digital assets. You will work with cutting‑edge technologies, analyse the current security posture and actively contribute to a secure, stable infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the organisation’s security posture and continuously monitor network traffic.
• Defend digital assets against cyber‑attacks, internal and external threats.
• Detect anomalous activity, respond to security incidents and conduct digital‑footprint analysis.
• Perform risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities and propose mitigation measures.
• Investigate and resolve security incidents, recommending improvements.
• Develop security protocols, standards, policies and disaster‑recovery plans.
• Conduct security audits, test firewalls, run network tests and create patches or new protocols as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems Security or Cyber Security.
• Relevant experience in IT security, system/software/database architecture, preferably in a high‑growth environment.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, security protocols and authentication methods.
• Experience with penetration and vulnerability testing.
• Professional integrity handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Fluency in English; German and Italian are a plus.
