IT Service Specialist

About the role

Provide support services to Global Information Services (GIS) customers, ensuring IT services meet service level agreements and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver support for specific IT services, adhering to service management processes.
• Perform updates, patching, point releases and major upgrades throughout the service lifecycle.
• Configure IT technology and execute basic changes following standard operating procedures and change management policies.
• Draft technical and end‑user documentation for assigned services.
• Monitor service availability and performance, reporting anomalies via predefined processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis of outages or incident trends, often collaborating with managed‑services partners.

Required profile

• Works under supervision with no direct supervisory responsibilities.
• Applies general business knowledge gained through education or prior experience.
• Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems and makes judgments based on standard practices.
• Communicates straightforward information, asks clarifying questions and checks for understanding.

Required skills

• IT service management and change/release management.
• Patching, point releases and upgrade implementation.
• Configuration of IT technology and basic change execution.
• Technical documentation authoring.
