IT Specialist (Sysadmin)

About the role

The IT Specialist (Sysadmin) will serve as the System Manager for the ONE‑Net Network Administration and System Management (NASM) division within the NCTS Naples NS Department. This overseas position supports the performance monitoring of military and contractor personnel and ensures reliable server and network operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, and integrate server systems in alignment with existing or planned data‑center infrastructures.
• Monitor servers, switches, and other network devices, responding to alerts and warnings as required.
• Control server operation and configuration, maintaining optimal performance.
• Advise and assist customers on technical requirements, documentation, and justification processes.
• Develop, submit, and track configuration plans through the appropriate approval authority and oversee implementation.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen and eligible for federal employment.
• Successful completion of E‑Verify and pre‑employment drug testing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport; may require a visa for overseas assignment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including extended periods on military or commercial aircraft.
• Compliance with Selective Service registration (for males born after 12‑31‑1959).
