Junior IT Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior IT Security Specialist to join our growing team in Milan. The role will support core information‑security activities, including assessments, remediation, monitoring and secure development, while offering opportunities to develop expertise in cybersecurity.

Key responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on systems and applications, documenting findings and recommending mitigations.
• Monitor security events, assist in incident response, and maintain clear records of incidents and actions taken.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address identified risks and promote security best practices.
• Support development teams in adopting secure coding practices and integrate security into development workflows.
• Apply structured testing approaches, stay updated on security trends, and contribute to awareness and training programs.

Required profile

• Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant security certifications are a plus.
• Some experience or academic exposure to IT security.
• Native or professional proficiency in Italian and good English communication skills.
