Junior IT Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior IT Security Specialist to support core information‑security activities in our new Milano Bicocca office. The role focuses on vulnerability assessments, incident response, secure development support and collaboration with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across systems and applications, record findings and recommend mitigations.
• Monitor security events, assist with incident investigation, maintain incident records and support security‑control implementation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to remediate identified risks and promote good security practices.
• Support development teams in adopting secure coding practices and integrate security into development workflows.
• Apply structured testing approaches, stay informed on security trends and contribute to awareness and training programs.

Required profile

• Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant security certifications are a plus.
• Some experience or academic exposure to IT security.
• Italian native speaker or professional proficiency; good English communication skills.
