About the role
We are looking for an Account Manager (Grocery & Retail) based in Milan to guide the growth of our most strategic grocery partners, acting as a consultant to ensure Deliveroo remains a major revenue channel for global brands.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary consultant for a portfolio of major grocery and retail partners, building deep, long‑term relationships.
- Use data manipulation and analysis to identify trends, increasing profitability and growth for both partners and Deliveroo.
- Drive commercial value through upselling, cross‑selling and identifying new business opportunities within the portfolio.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations and Customer Service to develop and implement bespoke solutions that address partner challenges.
- Serve as the main point of contact for strategic partners, resolving complex issues with professional, timely, and scalable solutions.
Required profile
- Significant commercial experience, preferably in retail, FMCG or high‑growth technology companies.
- Deep knowledge of the food retail industry and its unique challenges.
- Proven ability to manage long‑term relationships with strategic stakeholders and global brands.
- Technical competency in using data tools and program‑management applications to drive best practices and measure impact.
- Professional fluency in English to collaborate with global teams and partners.
