Key Account Manager – Industrial Adhesives & Tapes

About the role

As a Key Account Manager for the Priority Vertical Market of the Industrial Adhesive & Tapes Division, you will drive growth with strategic industrial customers across North‑West Italy. The role blends sales, technical collaboration and extensive travel to support automation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop strategic key accounts, aligning activities with 3M’s business objectives.
• Identify growth opportunities, create and execute account development plans.
• Lead automation projects for adhesives and tapes at key customers.
• Support complex initiatives together with technical, marketing and operational teams.
• Conduct annual account planning, forecasting and performance tracking.
• Maintain pipeline accuracy through consistent CRM usage and analyse sales data for actionable insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of B2B key‑account management experience, preferably in industrial or chemical markets.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Excellent English and willingness to travel frequently (≈70% of the time).

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.
• Knowledge of adhesives and tapes automation processes.
• EAS (European Adhesive Specialist) certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI tools and concepts.

What we offer

• Gross annual salary between €70,000 and €75,000.
• Variable remuneration up to 30% of gross salary based on performance.
• Additional benefits and allowances in line with Italian CCNL regulations.
